Frequently Asked Questions
We can notarize most forms with an unexpired government or state issued ID card that reflects the same name* that is listed on the document. However, some forms, like the USPS 1583, require additional forms of identification. Therefore, the type of ID required to notarize a form is determined by the wording on the document and Florida state laws. If you are unsure that you have the appropriate ID, you can also email the form to us at info@signaturelivescan.com for us to review the document prior to booking.
*Documents signed by a designated Power-of-Attorney (POA) may or may not list the attorney in facts name.
No, we cannot and do not interpret documents for clients. We recommend that all clients reach out to the person and/or company that will be receiving the notarized document or a licensed attorney or law firm to receive clarification and/or legal advice on the documents meaning as it pertains to their circumstances.
Signature Livescan & Notary, LLC. is not a law firm or an attorney service. We do not practice law in the State of Florida, and we may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. We recommend contacting The Florida Bar and/or a licensed attorney or law firm prior to setting an appointment with any notary service, as the signer's signature on notarized documents makes the signer legally bound to the terms and conditions of the document.
